As the first all–English undergraduate international college of Tsinghua University, Zijing aims at creating a community of learners engaging in cross–cultural and cross–disciplinary explorations, as well as a community of future practitioners for innovations.

While we are in awe of today’s technological breakthroughs, we are also aware of growing uncertainties of our common future. Yet we remain fully convinced that our future would be in safe hands. And you are exactly the reason of that optimism.

You represent a generation that is made to better the previous ones. Imparted with global awareness, empowered by innovative tools, you have put yourself on a journey towards leadership in cross–cultural, cross–disciplinary innovations, if only the education you take could assist you in achieving such goals.

The purpose of Zijing is to provide the type of learning that you deserve. Adding an‘A’ (Art, Architecture, and AI) to the traditional domain of STEM, Zijing advocates the new STEAM model, where technology, science and art join, where Design Science, Information Science and Technology, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering meet and cross–fertilize. You are encouraged to define your own bespoke path to gain the qualities you need to become a true conductor in an orchestra of engineers, scientists and artists.
